The February 11 Roundtable (Members Only) will feature Teresa Safranek of Creative Closets, who will share the latest and greatest information on closet design, including tips on pantries, kitchens and garages.

Dina Smith of "Closet Therapy with Dina" is the speaker at the February 11 Chapter Meeting. Her topic is "Is it Me or Is It You? A Candid Talk on Organizer Professional Ethics, Burnout & Client Mental Illness."

Dina will define common mental health diagnosis and explore how to recognize symptoms in our clients. She will also address Organizer responsibility with clients engaged in a counseling relationship and how to suggest professional help, when needed. Dina's presentation will include information about Organizer burnout and conclude with a Q&A session.

As Coach, Speaker and Licensed Professional Counselor, Dina has worked in a variety of treatment settings. After years in corporate training, excelling in consumer finance and compliance, she quickly advanced to management with The Container Store. With long hours and a desire for more family time, Dina left The Container Store, knowing her best life was soon to follow. Obtaining a Master’s in Community Counseling from Argosy University changed her career trajectory and she began working in a variety of populations. With extensive training in substance abuse, crisis intervention and anger management, the desire to help women lead more balanced lives never left. In 2014, Dina launched,  “Organized Life Works, LLC,” a company solely focused on Professional Organizing. That business has now rebranded as “Closet Therapy with Dina,” where she is able to provide professional organizing, counseling and coaching services both online and in-person. You can find Dina Smith living her life on purpose and empowering women to do the same.
